Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Departing Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp might be able to welcome back another soon-to-be erstwhile Reds man for Sunday's Premier League finale with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield.

While Klopp's exit has been known for a matter of months, the Reds only confirmed on Friday morning that Thiago Alcantara and Joel Matip would also head elsewhere upon the expiration of their contracts.

Matip's ACL injury means that he has already played his final match for the club, but Thiago - out since February with a muscular concern - has trained this week and might have a miniscule chance of earning a few more minutes in a Liverpool shirt.

Andy Robertson (knock) and Diogo Jota (hip) are also on the practice pitches again, but young duo Ben Doak (knee) and Bobby Clark (unspecified) will not be involved in Klopp's farewell match.

Robertson's return to fitness should see the Scotsman take his place in an otherwise unchanged backline with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah, Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker, even if there is some temptation from Klopp to hand Caoimhin Kelleher the gloves.

Minutes should also come the way of Stefan Bajcetic from the bench, but Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott - whom Klopp regrets not giving more minutes to - are primed to join forces in an unchanged midfield trio.

After quickly burying the hatchet with Klopp after their West Ham United fracas, Mohamed Salah is set to be deployed alongside Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz, who will bid to fire Liverpool to their 299th win under the distinguished German.

Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Robertson; Elliott, Endo, Mac Allister; Salah, Gakpo, Diaz
